Weeknight dinner sorted! Meet your new family favourite – Sesame Sizzle Chicken! Juicy chicken, sticky honey-soy goodness, crunchy spring onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds… all served over fluffy jasmine rice.
Ingredients:
- 2 Chicken Breasts
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- 2 Spring Onions, sliced
- 1 tsp Sesame Seeds
- 3/4 cup Jasmin Rice, uncooked
- 1.5 cups Water
Method:
- Rinse the jasmine rice and cook in 1.5 cups of water according to packet instructions.
- While the rice cooks, heat sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, honey, and ginger in a small bowl, then pour over the chicken. Stir for 1–2 minutes until the chicken is coated and sticky.
- Sprinkle over spring onions and sesame seeds, give it a quick toss, and serve straight over the fluffy jasmine rice.
