Weeknight Spaghetti Bolognaise

BIG FLAVOUR, ZERO FUSS! Make a quick and delicious Spaghetti Bolognaise with our Premium Beef Mince.

A simple, family-friendly recipe with easy ingredients and a fast method for weeknight cooking.
Ingredients:
  • 8 Rashers Economy Bacon
  • 2 cups Mashed Potato (leftovers are perfect!)
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Method:
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, cooking for 3–4 minutes until softened and fragrant.

  2. Add the premium beef mince to the pan. Cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until evenly browned with no pink remaining.

  3. Stir through the grated carrot, allowing it to soften slightly. Add the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute to deepen the flavour.

  4. Pour in the pasta sauce and sprinkle in the oregano. Season with salt and pepper, then reduce heat to low and let the sauce gently simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. While the sauce cooks, bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to packet directions until al dente.

  6. Drain the pasta well and divide among serving bowls. Ladle the rich bolognaise sauce over the top, finishing with a generous sprinkle of parmesan.
